Recognized as a nonprofit organization in 1965, the Northern California Chapter of the American College of Surgeons would like to invite you to become a member of one of the most progressive and historically active state chapters in the country! It’s your membership that will continue to let the Chapter focus on important issues facing Northern Californian surgeons.
Membership Categories
Fellow — $150
ACS has implemented a new Joint ACS National/Chapter Dues Collection Program to combine the national and chapter Fellow dues into one invoice. Beginning November 2024, you can pay your 2025 Chapter dues and your 2025 National dues simultaneously.
To pay your dues, visit the College’s website and login to your online member portal (www.facs.org)
Click “Login” and log in to your account; and
Click your circular profile icon; and
Click “My Dashboard”; and
Click on the “Make a Payment” alert on the top of the Dashboard
Once logged in, you may pay your dues online by credit card, or select another payment method (check, ACH, wire, fax, or print an invoice). The College will also send an invoice by both email and mail. All FAQs about this program may be answered Chapter Dues Billing | ACS (facs.org).
Associate Fellow — $150
Must be recognized by the American College of Surgeons as an Associate Fellow.
Retired — $50
Must have been granted retired status by the American College of Surgeons.
Resident — $0
Surgical residents and surgeons in research or surgical fellowship programs who meet the American College of Surgeons requirements for participation.
Medical Student — $0
Medical students in accredited allopathic or osteopathic medical schools, who meet meet the American College of Surgeons requirements for participation.
Affiliate — $125
Clinical staff and allied health professionals working in ACS quality programs and departments of surgery, those who assist surgeons and a part of the operating room team, individuals who participate in research and provide surgical education and training, and those who work for a medical association affiliated with the field of surgery.
